Rotary Centennial Project Awards

The three marvelous Rotary Clubs located in Novato, CA – Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise, Ignacio Rotary and Novato Rotary- sponsored a joint Rotary Centennial Celebration February 23, 2005. At this event the City of Novato presented a proclamation to the three Clubs for their service to the Novato Community. Mayor Bernard H. Meyers, with Mayor Pro Tem Carole Dillon-Knudsen presented the proclamation.

Major joint projects completed by the three Rotary Clubs to commemorate the Rotary Centennial are the Scotsdale Pond Gazebo and Landscaping and the San Miguel Tot Lot. For this work each Club was presented a beautiful plaque.

More than 100 Rotarians, spouses and guests attended the celebration and enjoyed out-of-this world delicious foods, drinks and YES! Birthday Cakes. Here are just a few photos offered as evidence of a good time. (Put your mouse cursor on each photo to get the scoop).
